ABOUT

Built from inside banking. Hong Kong property first.

Quant Property Valuation is an explainable, audit-trail-grade AVM purpose-built for Hong Kong residential property. The same quantitative methods banks use to price financial assets, applied to Hong Kong residential property. Decomposed inputs, defined weights, confidence ranges, full audit trail.

MISSION

Transparency and standardisation, not opinion.

Hong Kong's residential property market operates without a standardised pricing benchmark. The same apartment in the same building can carry wildly different prices depending on the agent or seller. Bank valuations, agency estimates and seller expectations are each produced by a different method and rarely reconcile, so there is no common independent reference point. Brokers advise clients based on intuition rather than data.

QPV exists to replace subjective, agent-driven pricing with auditable, quantitative valuation intelligence. Institutional-grade methods, available to banks, brokers, and Hong Kong residents alike.

STORY

How we got here.

QPV's quantitative valuation framework comes from institutional risk practice. A decade in equity market risk and regulatory capital at HSBC, JP Morgan, BNP Paribas and Societe Generale is where the standards behind it were learned: how institutions decompose an asset, weight the inputs, and carry a stated uncertainty on every number. Property valuation is rarely held to those standards.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Property is the largest financial decision most families will ever make.

In a city where property is the largest financial decision most families will ever make, the absence of an independent, data-driven reference price creates a fundamental information asymmetry. Banks, brokers, and ordinary buyers all price the same asset against different signals.

QPV builds the standardised pricing layer that levels the playing field. Institutional-grade rigour, available to banks, brokers, and owners alike.
